Bernie has practiced law in Wolfville and Kentville, Kings County, Nova Scotia since his admission to the Bar in 2001 and has continuously practiced in Kentville since May 2003. He has a general practice with his focus in real estate transactions, civil litigation, corporate, commercial and municipal law. Approximately seventy five percent of his practice involves general real estate transactions.

Courts and Tribunals Practiced Before

Bernie has appeared before most of the boards, tribunals and courts in the province of Nova Scotia. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia on a regular basis and the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal on a periodic basis. He has appeared before the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board as well. He also appears on a periodic basis before the Small Claims Court and the Residential Tenancies Board.

His interests and hobbies include rugby - playing, coaching & refereeing, soccer, golf and politics.
